Local Missions
New Hope has partnered with several unique non-profits throughout the Middle Tennessee area, offering a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in serving their local community on a regular basis.
This is New Hope’s opportunity to be a part of the community where God has placed us. The Bible says we are to GO and make disciples of all nations. In this day and age, the best way to do that is to show people that you are invested in them and their neighborhoods. No one wants to simply be part of a checklist, so our Connect Group Service Projects partner with neighborhoods to show that we are with them for the long haul. The ultimate goal is to show the love of Christ and win people for Christ. For more information about our missions opportunities, contact Mark Edington
The Nashville Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry dedicated to offering help to the hungry, homeless, and hurting in the Nashville area. With one campus for men and another for women and children, the Mission offers food, housing, education, counseling, and the love of Christ to those in need. Over the years we have seen the Holy Spirit move in BIG ways while serving at the women’s shelter. We are given opportunities to share Christ, to pray, and to have meaningful conversations with the women who feel forgotten or “cast off” by society. If you have never served with us, we encourage you to do so. We at New Hope partner with the NRM in a number of ways. 1. We have been supporting the Mission financially for more than 15 years. 2. The 1st Monday of each month we serve dinner, lead chapel, and pray with the women at the women’s shelter. Everyone is invited to be a part. This is a great opportunity to serve as a family. Below is the schedule breakdown. Help Serve Dinner to Women & their Children | 4:45-6:15pm For more info, contact Dana Sullivan. Help Lead Worship for the Chapel Service | 7pm-8:15pm If you would like to help with leading worship, please contact Mark Edington for more info. Pray with Women during the Chapel Service | 7pm-8:15pm Tracy Collom brings a message, and then we have a time of praying with the ladies for their specific needs and concerns. If you would like to go with us to pray with the ladies, please contact Tracy Collom Learn more about the Nashville Rescue Mission at NashvilleRescueMission.org
