Connecting people to each other, and our Savior Jesus Christ, is the central focus of our weekly Connect Groups here at New Hope Community Church and in the broader community outside our church walls.

New Hope Connect Groups are smaller groups of people meeting throughout the week, both here at the church & throughout the community to study the Bible, make new friends, serve the community and simply do life together.

Winter/Spring 2021 Connect Groups begin the week of January 10th.

Most Connect Groups offer an online only option, for those who wish to meet via Zoom each week.
If you would like to only meet online, please select the option "Online Only Sign-Up (via Zoom)" to join the Connect Group of your choice.

If you're new to New Hope and would like to get involved in a Connect Group, we recommend checking out our Sunday Morning Groups as a good way to get plugged in. Stop by the Welcome Desk in the Lobby to find out what groups are open.

SUN-01: Trusting God

General Connect Group (All Invited)
Group Leader: Mary Adeniran
Location: New Hope in Room 5 and online via Zoom
Time: Sunday Mornings: 8:30 - 9:45 am

Why is it easier to obey God than to trust Him? Because obeying God makes sense to us. In most cases, His laws appear reasonable and wise, and even when we don’t want to obey them, we usually concede that they are good for us. But the circumstances we find ourselves in often defy explanation. Before long, we begin to doubt God’s concern for us or His control over our lives. We ask, “Why is God allowing this?” or “What have I done wrong?” Join Mary each week as we discuss these questions and find out how the Bible responds.
