Connecting people to each other, and our Savior Jesus Christ, is the central focus of our weekly Connect Groups here at New Hope Community Church and in the broader community outside our church walls.

New Hope Connect Groups are smaller groups of people meeting throughout the week, both here at the church & throughout the community to study the Bible, make new friends, serve the community and simply do life together.

Fall 2019 Connect Groups begin the week of September 15th.

If you're new to New Hope and would like to get involved in a Connect Group, we recommend checking out our Sunday Morning Groups as a good way to get plugged in. Stop by the Welcome Desk in the Lobby to find out what groups are open.

Sunday Connect Groups

SUN-01: Hebrews

General Connect Group (All Invited)
Group Leader: Dan Zimmerle
Location: New Hope - Room 4
Time: Sunday Mornings: 8:30 - 9:45 am

The book of Hebrews compares and contrasts Jesus to key historical people and events from the Old Testament. Through these comparisons, we see His superiority. He is greater than angels, the Torah, Moses, the Promised Land, priests, sacrifices, and the covenant. He is God's Word, the hope for a new creation, our eternal priest, and the perfect sacrifice. This semester, Dan will be leading us through this incredible book with insight and a knowledge that is inspiring.

SUN-02: The Circle Maker

Mark Batterson

General Connect Group (All Invited)
Group Leaders: Ron & Laurie Creech
Location: New Hope - Room 5
Time: Sunday Mornings: 8:30 - 9:45 am

How big is your God? Is He big enough to heal your marriage or heal your child? Is He bigger than a positive MRI or a negative evaluation? Is He bigger than your secret sin or secret dream? In this Connect Group, Ron and Laurie discuss the true legend of Honi the circle maker, a first-century Jewish sage whose bold prayer ended a drought and served a generation. We'll learn how to pray in a new way by drawing prayer circles around our dreams, family, problems, and most importantly, God's promises.

SUN-03: The Ragamuffin Gospel

Brennan Manning

Group Leaders: Evan Ling & Bridget Galvin
Location: New Hope Community Church - Room 101
Time: Sunday Mornings: 8:30 - 9:45 am

Most of us believe in God's grace - in theory. But somehow we can't seem to apply it in our daily lives. We continue to see Him as a small-bookkeeper, tallying our failures and successes on a score sheet. Evan & Bridget lead us in learning that God gives us His grace, willingly, no matter what we've done. We come to him as ragamuffins - dirty, bedraggled, and beat-up. And when we sit at His feet, He smiles upon us.
