I’m Thankful for New Hope (that means You!)

The Ministry Fair on Sunday was truly a site to behold. The gallery of the church was completely filled with wonderfully decorated tables, complete with enough breakfast food to feed all of Brentwood. I saw many new faces of people who have recently made New Hope their church home, and I saw many familiar faces who have been faithful to the church for some time now. As I walked around the gallery it was easy to sense the celebratory feeling of optimism, fellowship, and community. Special thanks to our deacon, David Taylor, and the rest of the team who pulled the event together.

Sunday was a day that made me feel so thankful and blessed for such a wonderful church home (and family). Jesus certainly knew what He was doing when he created the Church!

Let’s look ahead to what’s happening in December.

Sunday, December 3rd
We’re going to gather again from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM for breakfast in the gallery. This is a time to come and socialize with one another before the worship service.

Sunday, December 10th
At the conclusion of the worship service on December 10th we will have our final Town Hall meeting of 2017. At this meeting we will be hearing some updates from a couple of our deacons, as well as the end of the year financial report.

Sunday, December 17th
Our Children’s Christmas Program will be on the morning of the 17th, and then that evening will be our Celebrate Christmas with Family Dinner and Talent Show!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year. We will be having our regularly scheduled 10:00 AM Worship Service. We will NOT be having a service later that day. Our 10:00 AM service will be our Candlelight Service. We have some special things planned for that morning, so make plans to join us on Christmas Eve!

Blessings to you and Happy Thanksgiving, From my Family to Yours,

Pastor Josh
