Your New Hope Prayer Team

Dear Members and Friends of New Hope,

I am excited to announce that we have formed a Sunday morning prayer team to be available each week at our worship services. The desire to put together this team of trusted individuals has been on the heart of our leadership for over a year, but only recently did God make it clear that the time to start this team was now.

For many years we have opened the altar at the conclusion of a message for people to come forward as led to pray, and that will continue to happen, but now any person who would like to come forward will also have the option to be prayed over by a member of our prayer team who wants to intercede on your behalf. Our prayer team will be there to encourage you and lift you up before the Lord. Each member of this team is a prayer warrior, and is ready to go into spiritual battle for whoever comes to them for prayer. Let me introduce you to the members of the prayer team, and then please read what they have written for you.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

We at New Hope believe in the power of prayer and desire to minister to all who enter our doors. We understand the daily struggles of life can become overwhelming so we want to offer you support and encouragement. We will be located in the front right of the sanctuary after every message if you would like to receive individual prayer. All of us have a passion for intercessory prayer, and we promise that anything shared will be kept confidential. We believe that as we share our struggles and pray for one another, the burden becomes lessened.

Each prayer team member will be wearing a name badge and will be available for prayer both before and after the service. On behalf of Pastor Josh and the leadership of New Hope, we are ready to pray for you.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”  Matthew 18:20
