Adoring Jesus, Loving People & Equipping the Church
Prayer
Our vision for a "House of Prayer" is taken from Isaiah 56:7 "these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." Jesus referred to this Scripture when He had to deal with the moneychangers in the temple. In Matthew 21:13 He said, "It is written . . . My house will be called a house of prayer . . ."
We pray that each one within the body at New Hope Community Church will develop a deeper relationship with God and with our Lord, Jesus Christ through prayer.
We look forward with great anticipation to see how God will work through the prayers of His people in shaping our church, community, nation and world. We invite you to join us in one or more of the following opportunities for prayer.

Special Needs - Moms In Touch
First & Third Friday Special Needs Prayer - Moms In Touch contact Dawn Schwartz at 615-424-8926 or by email schwartz1996@bellsouth.net - A new support group for Moms has begun in Brentwood. It is open to any Mom of a special needs child, regardless of disability. The purpose is to follow the format for Moms in Touch International. Started in 1984 by Fern Nichols, the goal is to have each and every school throughout the United States and the world covered in prayer by a local group of moms. For mothers of special needs children we may feel that the needs of our child outweigh any simple explanation or request for prayer. The goal for this group is to have a group of Moms who already understand all of the terms and issues that daily surround our children and to have an understanding place where those requests for prayer can be made in an atmosphere of compassion and grace. Meetings on the first and third Fridays of each month through the school year at New Hope Community Church from 10am - 12pm. The first hour will follow the Moms in Touch outline and the second hour will be for those who may need some more social time.
