Austin Duncan

Director of Communications

As a native Texan, Austin came to New Hope from the West Texas area to pursue his passion for using his gifts to further God’s kingdom. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Tech in Digital Printmaking and a Master of Arts from the Art Institute of Dallas in Design and Media Management.

Before starting at New Hope, Austin developed his desire to work in a church through his freelance and professional work, completing motion graphics projects for West Texas churches every Sunday for the last four and a half years and working as a Graphic Designer for Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, he has spent time working as a Web Developer and Graphic Designer at a West Texas advertising agency and as a Project Manager at a custom web and software development company. Through working in a church combined with his other past positions, Austin developed a deep passion for working in a church and the skills to do so effectively. When not working, Austin is either spending time outdoors, woodworking in his backyard shop, or in the kitchen trying new recipes.
