Adoring Jesus, Loving People & Equipping the Church

Events Calendar

In addition to a strong core curriculum, NHCDC holds a variety of special events throughout the year at our Brentwood center that provide additional learning opportunities for the children and give parents the chance to be as involved as they like.

Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year. We encourage parents to meet with the teachers to discuss their children's learning and development objectives and progress. Conferences can be held at any time, as requested.

Events

We host a variety of events throughout the year to build excitement for the children and foster interaction among parents. These events are posted on the Events Calendar and include: Valentine's Day party, St. Patrick's Day parade, Easter program/parade/hunt, Cinco De Mayo Celebration, Muffins with Moms, Donuts with Dads, 4th of July bike parade, Fall Festival, Christmas program, etc., plus visits to NHCDC by interesting community members such as firemen, policemen, nurses, etc.

Parent Training

NHCDC offers an annual training class twice a year for any CDC parent who wants to improve their personal parenting skills. Past topics have included Personal Safety, Literacy, SIDS, and Detecting and Reporting Child Abuse.
